Confusion over HMAS Kuttabul versus Fleet Base East[edit]

This article seems to confuse Kuttabul with Fleet Base East, writing as if they were the same thing. Kuttabul is a part of Fleet Base East but it is not all of it. Fleet Base East includes the civilian-run Garden Island Dockyard, the naval wharves at Woolloomooloo and several other facilities. It is a 'grouping' of facilities and establishments, some military and some civilian, of which HMAS Kuttabul is only one. I have rewritten the introductory paragraph of this article to reflect this and I will rewrite the entire article in time. I think we need to create a separate 'Fleet Base East' page to explain what Fleet Base East is, its history, and to tie together the separate pages for HMAS Kuttabul, Garden Island Dockyard, HMAS Waterhen, etc. Stuart midgley (talk) 03:27, 28 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
