New Guinea Campaign[edit]

The Commonwealt War Graves Commission's website mentions that some crew members from Empire Arquebus are buried in the Lae War Cemetery. I'm not sure exactly where this fits in with the ship's history as the website mentions the cemetery was connected with the New Guinea landings in 1942, before Empire Arquebus was built.
