Royal Naval vessels - not Indian Government[edit]

The five Euphrates Class troopships were built for and served in the Royal Navy, and commissioned as British naval vessels. They were not "commissioned for the Indian government", although their role was in trooping exclusively to the Indian sub-continent. Rif Winfield (talk) 08:46, 4 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
