What about references to the actions? Particularly the 1942 one which is rather little known?Hertel47 (talk) 22:13, 11 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lead Image[edit]

If, as the article's infobox describes, Witshed was converted as an SRE (short-range escort) during the early war, she should have retained her 4.7-inch BL guns in single mountings. SREs fitted with the twin 6-pounder usually had 'A' gun replaced by the new mounting. The lead image, however, shows a WAIR conversion, with 4-inch twin HA mounts fore and aft. Is this actually HMS Witshed? 2A00:23C7:312C:2401:6983:60ED:FAFE:9A6F (talk) 01:10, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting image.
Thanks IWM.
