Untitled[edit]

After a conversation with a local fisherman while playing on a beach in Cornwall with his small sons, he was told that Almond lay off the beach about five miles from where they stood, and they fished round her. He suggested contact should be made with certain people and places to gather more information. This was done and it then provided an enormous amount of detail and personal information which has been donated by relatives of the crew. This consists of a detailed account of the event of the explosion moment and the crew's situation at that time.If relatives of the crew wish to know more of these details e-mail holt142@btinternet.com. There are still some of the crew members relatives who might hold memories and pictures that could be donated to the RNPS museum at the Sparrows Nest, Lowestoft. Or I will get it to the museum with your permission should you wish to send it to me, as above contact e-mail method.§
