RPN??[edit]

According to numerous HP collector sites (e.g. [1], but others can be found on the internet) this calculator uses the same algebraic entry mode as the 39G, not the Reverse Polish Notation method the "usual" HP calculators are famous for. Maybe an owner can confirm that. 80.138.136.119 (talk) 00:02, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Edit: the same information can be found on the reference mentioned in the main article: "Equations are entered using algebraic format rather than the Reverse Polish Notation (RPN) used by most HP calculators."[2] 80.138.136.119 (talk) 00:04, 9 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed; the 38G is definitely algebraic-only, and does not have RPN. The previous change comment, quoting the 38G manual, actually refers to the Ans function, which many algebraic calculators have, and has nothing at all to do with RPN. I've corrected the article; I didn't undo the above change, since the original text wasn't ideal either. Cdmackay (talk) 15:06, 20 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
