Comments[edit]

Word at the office is that this device will be picked up by Cingular in the US and sold as the 8525, the successor to the current 8125 (from unknown user & unknown date)

screen alignment is an overrated issue by the online communities... in my country HTC sold 500 devices and none of them had such symptoms (from unknown user & unknown date)

Cleanup Required[edit]

This article is really scrappy and non-encyclopaedic. I'm planning to do a more-or-less total rewrite, but the one thing I can't do myself (until my own TyTN arrives, at least) is get a suitable non-copyvio/fairuse image to use with the article. If someone could take a picture of their TyTN-variant it would be incredibly helpful. Wibbble 13:44, 12 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I cleaned it up a little, added some more information, etc. I will be expanding the article a bit more in the next week. I will also update the formatting of the article as well. Toleraen 11:00, 18 April 2007

Reviews[edit]

Here are some reviews to consider using in writing the article.

Added in some redirects[edit]

I set it up to where when someone searches "8525" or "mougle" it will redirect here. Cingular calls this phone the 8525, and Sprint calls it a mougle. Tabor 21:23, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

CNET's top Smartphone[edit]

This phone no longer appears on CNET's list of top Smartphones (has been replaced on the list by the AT&T Tilt). As a result, I have removed the statement, "The AT&T 8525 is the highest rated smartphone by CNET as of September 2007." 67.166.99.72 20:01, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal[edit]

I propose merging AT&T 8525, Dopod 838Pro and Orange SPV M3100 into this article. They are carrier branded versions of the HTC TyTN and whatever minor differences they may have can be addressed in separate sections within this article. JCDenton2052 (talk) 02:37, 19 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Redirects[edit]

AT&T 8525, Dopod 838Pro, and Orange SPV M3100 have been redirected here. If I missed any encyclopedic information from those articles, please move it over to this one. Thanks. JCDenton2052 (talk) 03:18, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

GPS[edit]

Anyone know how to get GPS actually working on this phone, or is it impossible given the state of the hardware? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.11.143.92 (talk) 20:49, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
