NIT?[edit]

There is no explanation as to why the lead says the "NIT/Haggerty Award". Why is there an NIT affiliation? This needs to be expounded upon because it's very confusing. Jrcla2 ^talk 03:25, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No longer NIT, per Help desk commenter[edit]

This Help desk section (permalink) claims that the award hasn't been affiliated with NIT since 2021, and is now with Met Basketball Writers Association. Mathglot (talk) 07:50, 22 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
