Rock carvings[edit]

The text talks about rock carvings at Svinesund, as far as I know there are none there to be found. And the war where Charles XII died did not end in 1718 by the death of the king, but in 1721 when a truce was signed. 80.212.182.232 00:03, 31 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Under politics, the article reads "A series of controversial decisions by prominent local politicians, often rooted in personal interests, has resulted in a general distrust of politicians by the population of Halden." I believe this is true but more details should be given. Otherwise, someone may say that the statement is opinion and biased (or POV in wikipedia terminology)Mrs.EasterBunny 15:40, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

possible contradiction?[edit]

Curling is popular but there are few curling centres. Maybe it's not so popular. See article. Mrs.EasterBunny (talk) 18:08, 27 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Prison[edit]

is this the location of the model prison of the same name? if so, i would think that worthy of mention.Toyokuni3 (talk) 15:19, 27 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Halden Prison, or (Norwegian) Halden fengsel is within Halden municipality borders, though located some five miles west of city center. For exact location, check map coordinates in the Norwegian article. TorSch (talk) 09:52, 2 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Radioactive iode leak?[edit]

Hi, It needs a section about the radioactive iode leak, which started in October 2016. See the article in French. Regards, Yann (talk) 20:20, 16 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
