Connecting this entry with systematic theology[edit]

It is important to connect this discipline as a component of dogmatic or systematic theology.--Drboisclair 18:30, 20 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

POV[edit]

This comes across as very much pro the original sin school of thought, though much of the article is unsubstantiated. 79.70.189.40 (talk) 12:47, 24 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

mmm hmm. You wanted salvation from academics, or from sin? Note the Pelagian view, in which the Fall of Adam "established a negative moral precedent" for humanity, but few modern religious philosophers or 'theologians' subscribe to this point of view (POV) " and no orthodox theologians...continue to hold this hamartiological viewpoint." Original blessing[edit]

Does the Pelagian view really say that people are born as blank slates? I thought it said that people were born good, similar to the "Original Blessing" view of Matthew Fox (priest). Vorbee (talk) 17:54, 28 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
