Rewrite sentence[edit]

"When a state project to dam the river was dammed and create Lake Moultrie was proposed in the 1940s, it would have flooded the site of the house."

Not precisely sure what's being articulated here, so I'm not going to atttempt a rewrite of this. An Upstate or WNC local may like to clarify this sentence. YellowAries2010 (talk) 04:42, 4 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
