Unfortunately, none of the sources I have access to specify the original designer (person or company) of this aircraft; when we find this out, this article will need to move to a more conventional name. --Rlandmann (talk) 02:46, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Note too that Finnish Wikipedia's article states that the Harakka design came from Soviet "UC-3" gliders captured during the war. Presumably, this designation refers to the U-s3 (ie, Cyrillic У-с3), later known as the Antonov A-1. If so, this information seems to be wrong; while the U-s3 was also a primary glider, it seems to have little in common with the Harakka; the most obvious and immediate difference being an entirely different tail structure. So even if some elements were taken from the Antonov design, the aircraft was substantially changed before being produced as the Harakka.
