Does the Elk Grove Village company actually trade? The last I heard no one was able to contact them. I for one would be delighted to hear they are in business!

If you search "Harmony Industries" with the Barrington Illinois address with the name Charles Subecz you will find that the company is in foreclosure and they are auctioning off the house from which the business was being operated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.234.79.8 (talk) 04:13, 15 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

barely a stub, and merge discussion[edit]

The few actual facts presented in the article are given meager support.

Much information has become readily available since 2006. This article has been around awhile, a decent read but lacking sources: http://chasingguitars.com/harmony-history/. Here's a more recent interview with the author of Harmony: The People's Guitar: https://reverb.com/news/reverb-experts-harmony-guitars — not a "deep" piece itself, but the book should likely be at-hand for anyone adventurous enough to make this a proper article.

A quick search of WP will find that the mentioned Westheimer Corp is likely the U.S. distributor of Cort brand guitars as well as rights owner to the Luthite material/process. Jack Westheimer is considered a pioneer of cheap import guitars: http://www.vintageguitar.com/1933/jack-westheimer/.

I do not believe that Harmony Company models has any reason to exist independently, given that

both articles are amazingly brief
Harmony Company is clearly the broader topic

Therefore, the "list" piece will be merged into the present article, barring strong and well-reasoned objection.
