I remember Harry! We shared a birthday and he would send me a card every year on my birthday! I remember how he only owned 1 suit and would send it to the cleaners and they would deliver it back the next day. I remember how his fingernails were longer and dirtier than anyone’s I had ever seen. I remember that he was invited to our church as an evangelist in the early 70’s by our pastor. I remember my parents driving him to his motel room after church and him asking my little sister and I to give him a hug goodbye and our parents telling us to go ahead. I remember the next morning he spoke at a young teen meeting at the church before school. I remember that after the meeting he cornered me and stuck his old tongue down my throat trying to kiss me. I was able to get away from him but I was disgusted and mortified. My father reported it to the pastor, who told him to leave and not come back. I remember the birthday cards every year until he died. Always grossed me out and made me feel stalked. I remember that it changed my relationship with the church and am still untrusting of the clergy. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:7080:7400:477C:342A:8BF0:1D50:BCE4 (talk) 04:54, 2 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The Foundation[edit]

I'm trimming back the information on the Foundation, as it is definitely becoming a problem in the balance of the article, and distracting from actual coverage of Harry Denman and his work. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:17, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
