Assessment Report[edit]

  1. Article needs to be massively expanded using Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements as a guide.
  2. It should make use of sections, using Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements as a guide.
  3. References and Citations are crucial for wikipedia, and so these must be added as the article is expanded. Make sure that as many as possible are "in-line" citations.(See WP:References, WP:V, and WP:CITE for guidance.)

Economics[edit]

I added a section referencing a couple of local companies (major employees) and have had it reverted as spam. A note on my talkpage does not really expand on the reason except saying it is advertising. It is unclear why, but I am guessing it is because it contains citations which are links to external corporate web sites. Does anyone have any advice about how I might reference major local employees without seeming to be spam? I have posted this on the User_Talk:ScorpO page too. Right, I am going to answer my own question - I am pretty sure it was reverted due to over-zealous admins seeing links to external corporate websites. As I guess I do not need to cite the claims made in the economics section I have put them back in without the citations, and therefore external links. Hope everyone is happy!! Boundary Changes[edit]

In addition to the three boundary changes noted for Hartford civil parish (1894, 1936 and 1955), I seem to remember that there was an adjustment with Weaverham in the Beach Road area around 1988, which I can't source at present. Can anyone else help? Old Wittonian (talk) 09:33, 25 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Removal from list of Notable people from Hartford[edit]

I am removing this name from the list as the wikilink connects to a businessman formerly Chairman of Asda, with no indication of origins in Hartford and not credited with any books written by him. It can be added if a genuine John Hardman matching the description is found who is demonstrably connected to Hartford.Cloptonson (talk) 15:06, 16 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
