All of the referenced sources are StateDep-linked "human rights" groups[edit]

This article does not looks like neutral. No Iranian sources are used, the evidence of this person being a member of the mentioned terrorist group is not included, the position of the government about the accusations is not presented, nor the fact that Arab cultural events in Iran have not stopped to be held after this group of people was detained (hence invalidating StateDep narrative about this having anything to do with "oppression" of the minority in Iran). 37.144.89.188 (talk) 18:47, 15 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Forced confession as reliable source?[edit]

User:Sean Kesser has been inserting information using this source: [1], which is an interview with Shabani. Given that the overwhelming consensus among RS is that such confessions of culpability were forced, I advise against using this as a reference. Terrorism as a category[edit]

Given that the overwhelming consensus among RS is that the terrorism charges against Shabani are highly dubious, I believe it would be inappropriate per WP:NPOV to categorize under terrorism. Plot Spoiler (talk) 00:45, 18 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"Overwhelming consensus" between irredentistic Arab and US-based organizations, repeated by some Western media in mostly same form? It has nothing to do with "overwhelming consensus", only intentional bias. Considering active Arab nationalist and religious terrorism in SW Iran there's for sure credibility of Iranian side of story, and claims from other side about executing someone for "promoting Arab literature" can be doubtful indeed since Arabic is teached along with English and French as foreign language in most Iranian schools. Erm, it's called maths. The article states he was 32 when he died in 2014. Knock 32 off 2014, and you get a birth in the 1980s. Or at least add Category:Year of birth missing. Lugnuts ^{Dick Laurent is dead} 20:02, 20 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
