Haunted Mansion Holiday version[edit]

I was just on the Holiday Version of the ride. While the Hatbox ghost is there, he did not do the trick with his head disappearing/reappearing. I went 3 times on 2 different days and this was the case each time. Anyone know if this is a malfunction or his they turn off the effect for Holiday version?
