mistake in the drawing[edit]

unfortunately, mr. nabil dahan found a mistake in his drawing: he mixes up the footprints of the inner foreleg and the outer hindleg. he'll correct the drawing immediately and we'll insert the revised grafic as soon as possible. --Auguste Bolte (talk) 16:29, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

He would be wise to look in an existing book and cite to his source, as he himself does not appear to be very famous (at least, Googling his name doesn't come up with much). I recommend people like Wynmalen, Muesler, or someone similar who wrote in English or who was translated into English. Montanabw(talk) 05:42, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

i thought it would be easier concerning the copyright etc. to have a graphic done for this very purpose. --196.205.125.193 (talk) 11:11, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

True in part. However, there is nothing that prevents an editor from doing their own illustration, but citing to a known expert for things such as the statement that the maneuver is performed on four tracks, at a 30-degree angle, etc., particularly when there are also classic works that argue it is to be performed on three tracks, and that sort of thing. Rename[edit]

Seeing as how haunches-out, travers and renvers all redirect here, should we rename the article? I'd recommend Travers and renvers or something similar. Montanabw(talk) 19:57, 22 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
