Proposed Merger[edit]

The article is not likely to progess much beyond a stub. I would suggest merging into a single page for minor characters set out in a similar way to other shows such as List of recurring characters from The Simpsons or Characters of Lost. If someone then wants to expand a characters entry they can still do so but it would be a lot easier to work with one page especially when there is so little information. This is consistent with the approach in Wikipedias fiction policy --Amxitsa 23:48, 24 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm suggesting that general discussion take place on the talk page of List of Emmerdale characters and that this page only be used for discussing reasons for this individual entry not to be merged. --Amxitsa 00:10, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
