Please show a link that proves her surname is Trott. Ms.raymond 20:23pm Tuesday 21 August —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ms.raymond (talkcontribs) 19:23, August 21, 2007 (UTC).

I want to know who she is and where she came from! Why does she act so weird about her mummy? And how come she just randomly turned up? There's got to be something in it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.137.40.248 (talkcontribs)

  • She probably acts weird about her "mummy" because of confidence issues on her part and control issues on her mothers, people like Heather are notoriously weak through lack of confidence and domineering people take advantage of that. An example of this aspect of her behaviour is seeing her being belittled by men —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.36.182.217 (talk) 00:54, August 24, 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Heather EE.jpg[edit]

Image:Heather EE.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Family who may not be biologically related[edit]

(See Talk:Garry Hobbs#Enid) Tonight she mentioned her aunt Bridey and uncle Ken. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 21:21, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

She also mentioned her aunt Val the other day. She's been put in the article as family but again, she might not be biologically related. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 11:32, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

If she's no longer married, and seeing as it was annuled, shouldnt this page be moved back to Heather Trott? Gungadin 22:15, 28 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Has it actually been anulled yet? I haven't seen it mentioned on screen. -Trampikey(talk)(contribs) 12:38, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I dont know tbh, I havent ever bothered concentrating on this abysmal storyline, I was just going by what was said in both their articles.Gungadin 16:08, 29 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I moved it back to Trott as the marriage has obviously been annuled by now, the official site calls her Trott etc too , plus it is her common name.GunGagdinMoan 14:10, 29 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Preganancy[edit]

i heard in soaplife magazine she is pregnant with PHIL MITCHELLS baby is this ture ? Lukelouvon (talk) 16:43, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

watch the show and find out. or ask a forum, because this isn't one. AnemoneProjectors (what?) 17:37, 1 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sharon Marshall just said on This Morning that we won't find out until October! I guess that's when the baby will be born. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 10:55, 11 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Does anybody think this is worthy of mention in this article? It doesn't really fit into Darren's, unless of course, he's the father... AnemoneProjectors (talk) 22:35, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I think so, even though it is kind of hinting that he is the father we could put something about how the press confused the public or something and not hinting at the father? Alex250P (talk) 23:35, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The press aren't trying to confuse the public, but nobody is giving anything away. We just have our four "suspects". Charlie G. Hawkins said if Darren is the father it will rock the boat with Libby, etc. I don't see that as a hint as he's on the suspect list. Perhaps just a line or something should be included, and maybe expand on it when we know the father. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 23:52, 19 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Birthdate[edit]

We've established Heather was born 1967 as in May 2009 she stated she was 41 and in October 2009 stated she was 42, there has also been a mention of her being born in October, but if there is no source for the exact birthdate, please don't post it. Alex250P (talk) 00:22, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

She's been on screen since 2007. Has she not celebrated a birthday yet? AnemoneProjectors (talk) 00:29, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Not that I can recall, and the only time it's been added is when guests edit the page. Alex250P (talk) 03:43, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I went back to last October actually and her birthdate just said October 1967, not the actual date. If she had a birthday on screen, it would have been added on 4 October. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 12:54, 24 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Garry Bushell[edit]

Opening this up for discussion to generate some consensus, in an attempt to head edit warring off at the pass. From the edit history of the page, it seems some editors would prefer not to include Garry Bushell's commentary at all. User:King of Mercia wishes to include the sentence:

"On Heather Trott, Bushell remarked : "Imagine that naked. She'd look like a giant dumpling with eyes. If her knickers were around her ankles, her arse would still be in them"."

I reworded this to read:

"Bushell deemed Heather's crush on Garry Hobbs "disturbing", and again criticised her appearance."

- with the rationale that we already include a lengthy quote from Bushell on the same subject, and repeatedly quoting him gives him undue weight in the reception section. I was reverted twice without explanation.

Thoughts? I've advised User:King of Mercia on his talkpage against edit warring, and have no interest in wasting time on pointless back and forth reversions. Frickative 04:27, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with you. I also removed "and again criticised her appearance" since it doesn't make sense to say he did that twice. AnemoneProjectors (talk) 12:30, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I'm in agreement with everything that's said above. I reverted edits from that editor earlier, mainly because of the wording of the quote --5 albert square (talk) 22:22, 25 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've sanitised Bushell's language and deleted the earlier quote which was FAR more offensive (Bushell claimed he wouldn't like to "fuck her".) How can it be concluded this language is acceptable but calling Trott a "dumpling" isn't? This smacks of hypocrisy and an obvious anti-bias to "new" editors on EastEnders pages. King of Mercia (talk) 00:36, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:PROFANE, the language is largely a non-issue. It can be paraphrased to be more palatable, but there's no rule against including it either. The primary issue is we already included a quote of Bushell insulting her physical appearance, adding another one gives his opinion undue weight in the section. Removing the earlier quote for the sake of including your favored one isn't an ideal solution. As a compromise, I would suggest re-wording the whole section on Bushell to read:
Garry Bushell, TV critic for the Daily Star has criticised Heather's appearance, dubbing her "Heffer" and referring to her as a "giant dumpling with eyes". Bushell found it implausible that Minty would kiss Heather, and later deemed her crush on Garry Hobbs "disturbing".
Succinct, to the point, and I believe captures the spirit of both opinion pieces. Frickative 03:54, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed King of Mercia (talk) 05:54, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Death[edit]

During Heather's final episode, it was referenced that it was Ben's 16th birthday, which is on 21st March 2012. This therefore must be the date Heather dies, not the 19th as it keeps being changed to.

Thank you for alerting me to this. The last appearance date should not appear in the article until it has happened. In this case the last appearance date would be 21st March - even though the story started screening on 19th March in Easties land it was 21st March then. That is the date Wikipedia then goes by. It can appear from 8pm tomorrow night onwards on the article - not before!!--5 albert square (talk) 22:19, 20 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I agree it is definitely 21st March, as they keep mentioning Heather was getting married 'tomorrow', and it has been known for the past month or so that they were planning to get married on 22nd March. --80.5.133.45 (talk) 11:42, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, the episodes are all set on the same day, so it can make it more difficult to date them, but we have two date references for it (Ben's birthday and the day before the planned wedding). –anemoneprojectors– 14:07, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Didn't see this, but somebody changed it back to the 19th with a rather derogatory comment so I've changed it back and added explanation. It is definitely the 21st as it's Ben's birthday and the wedding was referenced as March 22nd. Alex250P (talk) 17:33, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

EastEnders Revealed[edit]

I hope someone can download this episode and use it to update the article (and Ben's, as well as several others) as it had loads of amazing information about the character, her personality, some of her clothes and the things she's known for, and her relationships, especially with Ben, Shirley and the men in her life. –anemoneprojectors– 13:16, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh nuts I never knew there was one! If it's still on iPlayer, I will download it tonight and I can keep it forever muahahaha :) GSorbyPing 15:58, 23 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't know you could keep them forever if you downloaded them from iPlayer. I didn't know about it until about the day before. Surely they mentioned it at the end of the show on Thursday... :-) But if you can get it, then do, because at least if someone has it then it's not lost forever. –anemoneprojectors– 12:13, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Video footage[edit]

Heather wasn't credited in last night's episode, but we clearly saw her in video footage. Should we put this as a "second" last appearance date? –anemoneprojectors– 13:06, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, as this was technically 'new' footage. Alex250P (talk) 15:28, 18 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Strange though, as it must have been filmed at the time. They were clearly planning to have the footage viewed. –anemoneprojectors– 09:31, 21 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
