Sources for musical analysis[edit]
Do I have to include sources when I'm analyzing the form and composition of the piece if I'm just describing the theory behind what is already written on the sheet music? Anyone proficient in music theory and reading sheet music would be able to make that analysis from the sheet music. In a way the sheet music is more so the source, and I'm just translating it. - Sources are needed for everything that is not basic analysis (e.g. interpretation), see Wikipedia:Using sheet music sources. You need to cite the sheet music as a source as well. Please do this. Thanks, Schminnte (talk • contribs) 16:54, 26 September 2023 (UTC)
