Overhype.[edit]

The Venom F5 isn't a functioning car yet. The car unveiled at SEMA was actually a 1:1 scale model so creating hype about it's performance and capabilities should be avoided. U1Quattro (talk) 13:01, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed - let's stick to facts. Also, things like mentions of beating Bugatti and Hennessey need references that explicitly say that, not generic references that say it is expected to beat records in general.  Stepho  talk  13:27, 16 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. The references mentioned were the same and the information about Bugatti and Koenigsegg clearly displayed hatred and biasedness which should be avoided for the sake of neutrality. U1Quattro (talk) 13:53, 17 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Grammar.[edit]

I don't understand why my grammar improvement edit was undone. I fixed a run-on sentence, and the edit was reverted. Is there a reason why? Read the unedited section below and tell me it doesn't need fixing.

Initial reports had the Venom F5 powered by a completely "bespoke and proprietary" 7.4 L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, later it was revealed that while being still in development, the engine is to have an even larger capacity of 8.0 liters but the final displacement of the engine was revealed to be 7.6 liters. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Geraldmpiper (talkcontribs) 13:46, 12 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
