My article Henry Frank is listed under 'suspected hoax'. It is true that Google is not kind to this gentleman; the only reference I could find was http://books.google.ca/books?ie=UTF-8&hl=en&vid=0oLc3rZQ8O3LK__-t1&id=OOFt0ejaMPIC&q=henry+l.+frank+butte&prev=http://books.google.ca/books%3Fq%3Dhenry%2Bl.%2Bfrank%2Bbutte&pgis=1 . But the article on Henry Frank was not based on on-line information, but on research from the Butte-Silverbow Archives, primarily obituaries from contemporary newspaper articles. These are easily verifiable.

Oops, ok, sorry about that! A list of Butte mayors didn't list him — then again the list has a warning that it could be incomplete. I removed the hoax tag; sorry for being overly suspicious! Weregerbil 22:31, 10 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I found a few little factlets about him. One thing though: is the "first legislature" certain? My understanding of the US political system is very shaky; but as far as I can figure Montana's first legislature convened in 1864 — making him a representative at the tender age of 13. No worries; I appreciate the feedback, that's how wiki works. Always good to question 'facts' that go into print. I will alter the 'first legislature' reference as you suggest. And thanks for the improvements that you made to the page. We own a house in Frank that was once owned by HL himself, hence our interest in him. We've also found a cryptic photograph in the Glenbow Archives in Calgary that suggests he may have had a daughter in Canada, even tho he wasn't married...  :~O
