Untitled[edit]

not mainly because of his success but mostly because of his mannerism and public appearances. Absolutely nonsens. He was very successfull as in amateur in east-Germany and the most successfull german boxer as a professional of all-time. Franco, Deutschland

Retirement[edit]

I've modified the wording to try to make it clear his retirement had been announced/planned before his loss which is what the Con te partirò and Virgil Hill say. Unfortunately I couldn't find an RS (plenty of blogs and boxing forums) in fact one of the few RS (CNN) I found seems to suggest he annouced his retirement after his loss but the info in the other articles is compelling enough to me. Nice stuff on his boxing career, but needs a bit more information on his early days. Also, how did the comeback fight come about? A photo would be good, too. Edofedinburgh 02:28, 18 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
