The "next album" link was changed from "(guitar, vocal)" to "I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight". I've changed the linkage back

• Firstly the previous/next links are a two way chain from album to album. The whole chain should be changed. Changing one link resulted in inconsistencies.
• Secondly, on the Richard Thompson page you'll see that his solo albums and his albums with Linda Thompson are cataloged seperately in the discography. My view is that if previous/next links should be in line with the discography on the main page.
• Thirdly, having the R&LT albums in their own discography and with their own sequence of previous/next links (starting at "I Want To See The Bright Lights Tonight" and ending at "Island Years" would allow that discography to be easily accessed from the "Linda Thompson (singer)|Linda Thompson]] page.

I don't want to say that the linkages between the albums CANNOT be changed, but in my view there should be some consistency, and changing a single link probably makes things LESS consistent. Bob Dubery 03:53, 23 February 2006 (UTC)

Image:Hthf.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. Personnel

The personnel listing seems to be copied from the CD cover, which oddly omits saveral important contributers, most significantly Dave Mattacks on drums. Maybe this was some contractual thing at the time. --Ef80 (talk) 10:14, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

After doing some digging I haven't been able to find a WP:RS that confirms that Mattacks even played on the album, though I'm sure he sat in on some sessions in addition to credited drummer Timi Donald. Obviously we can't add DM without a good ref though. --Ef80 (talk) 10:47, 1 June 2015 (UTC)

Worst selling album

"is, reportedly, the worst selling album in Warner Bros. Records history" seems to me very unlikely, and places too much weight on an anecdotal aside in the cited review. -- Beardo (talk) 04:43, 12 October 2017 (UTC)

AT THE TIME, it actually was! Thompson took some twisted pride in that. Over time, with the growth of his and Fairport's fanbase and collectors, that has changed. Face it - in the U.S., a guy with bug eyes on the cover that was a pretty obscure name to begin with, wouldn't be burning up sales figures. :-) 50.111.3.17 (talk) 21:08, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

While it certainly didn't sell well initially, particularly in the US, I very much doubt it was Warners' all time worst selling album, and there is no good ref to support the claim. If RT has joked about this then we need a quotation with a ref. The implication that the album received near universal negative reviews on release is also questionable, and may reflect a US perspective which bedevils WP's RT articles (Americans didn't really 'get' RT until Shoot Out The Lights). --Ef80 (talk) 10:01, 14 February 2019 (UTC)
