Jets matches always have an attendence of 8972. This statement needs some explanation, does anyone know the history behind why their attendances are always announced as this? Quaidy 03:57, 21 September 2006 (UTC) I think the last ever Jets match in the NSWRL First Grade competition was attended by 8972. Current crowds are always given that figure as a memorial!
