Historica Minutes[edit]

This is what they refer to them as now [1].. The site makes no mention of Heritage Minute at all.. I suggest that we rename this article, and make mention of the old name.. WarBaCoN 04:56, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

What happened to the 1972 Summit Series?[edit]

I don't know if it was only for the 25th anniversary of the Summit Series, but there used to be a minute with Paul Henderson scoring on Vladislav Tretiak. I can't seem to find it anywhere. Does anyone know what happened to it? Mgraham1985 (talk) 18:54, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I checked with Historica and no Summit Series Heritage Minute was ever produced. Not sure what you may have seen. Could it have been one of the shorts from the 1970s? I have an e-mail from Historica confirming that there never was a Summit Series Heritage Minute. I understand that there are rules against original research but if the hallmark of Wikipedia is verification then the e-mail verifies that no Summit Series Heritage Minute ever existed. I made the change on the front page. The only Heritage Minute not available, as far as I can tell is the Peacekeepers one. Further below is the reason it is no longer seen. 76.9.43.38 (talk) 05:06, 11 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Peacekeeper Minute[edit]

There's one more heritage minute that is missing, that of Canadian peacekeepers in Cyprus. It aired with the original series in 1992 but is not available online or in the videos. The Turkish government protested becuase the Turkish man portrayed in the heritage minute was wearing a fez, something which after the reforms of Ataturk Turks did not do. Historica has decided not to reshoot or remake the video. The only place it may still be available to view is at a Canadian Museum of Civilization kiosk. That was a few years ago and I haven't been since. I have an e-mail from Historica if you want proff of the Turkish government's objection.150.203.110.103 (talk) 16:09, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Grey Owl Minute[edit]

I think it should also be mentioned that the Grey Owl minute used footage from the movie "Grey Owl".150.203.110.103 (talk) 16:12, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Great Peace-Iroquois Confederacy[edit]

I think the Great Peace and Iroquois Confederacy minutes, listed separately, are the same one.150.203.110.103 (talk) 16:16, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
