Created this page today. Hero (Nas song) still redirects to the album page because I'm unsure how to change that, so if anyone could change that that'd be great. JustAli (talk) 14:22, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Music Video[edit]

It previously said that the video was premiering on July 8th on MTV & Yahoo. But it premiered on BET on July 7th. The link I got was from worldstarhiphop.com, but it says BET in the corner of the video so that's enough right? Notability[edit]

This song is not notable. Per WP:MUSIC#SONGS, "Most songs do not merit an article and should redirect to another relevant article, such as for a prominent album or for the artist who wrote or prominently performed the song. Songs that have been ranked on national or significant music charts, that have won significant awards or honors or that have been performed independently by several notable artists, bands or groups are probably notable." That the song is a single by a notable artist does not establish notability under WP:MUSIC#SONGS.

Belief that the song will be notable at some point in the future is not a valid reason for an article.

If, at some point in the future, the song becomes notable, give it an article then.
