Question of notability[edit]

I note a "notability" tag has been added to this article. The subject is a winner of a major Australian literary award (namely the ALS Gold Medal) which was first awarded in 1928. Other than anything else the subject might have achieved I believe this fits any objective view of notability. Perry Middlemiss (talk) 22:59, 8 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
