Abbot of Bardney?[edit]

Bede says that Hygbald was an abbot in Lindsey, but does not give Bardney explicitly. The VCH for Bardney makes no mention of him. How do we know he was abbot of Bardney?--Robert EA Harvey (talk) 14:30, 3 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
