Poor referencing[edit]

This article needs proper referencing so the facts can be verified.-- CrossTempleJay  talk 10:40, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This article is "hand-made" translation of content of essentials of following book: Wolfgang Zey: Dickstoffpumpen: Aufbau und Anwendung. Verlag Moderne Industrie, Landsberg/Lech 1995 (Die Bibliothek der Technik; Bd. 113) ISBN 3-478-93127-4. Mr. Zey is former chief engineer of manufacturer. The english Wiki-text has been verified by technicians of manufacturer of solids pumps (Putzmeister company, Germany). Upload of media got stuck due to technical problems. Will be done soon, refer to "Dickstoffpumpe" in German Wikipedia. --Chawarma (talk) 10:56, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Update to last comment: Link to WikiCommons-files set successfully. Tags "no references" and "no citation" removed as text is nearly completely taken from the referenced german book.--Chawarma (talk) 05:52, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wikify and Orphan[edit]

I removed these tags after improving the page (although it may still be a little poor).--213.61.253.196 (talk) 14:28, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Energy expenditure[edit]

Doesn't energy expenditure also depend upon change of altitude, i.e. gravity. It might add or subtract from the total. -- Dough34 (talk) 15:42, 7 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

advertising copy[edit]

I removed the paragraph about the indian "pumpmeister" pumps with a reference link to an individual's linked-in page. The text under single-cylinder pumps still seems suspicious, since there are many other single cylinder pumps
