Not suitable. Comments: (1) There is a lot of "peacock" langauge: "picturesque suburb", "salubrious clime and congenial atmosphere", "rich in intellect", "seminal role", etc. (2) There is a complete lack of sources, i.e. sources not primarily related to the university itself.
Secondary sources provide two important things: verification that the statements are true; and equally important, an indication that the facts are notable and of interest to readers outside the institution itself. Right now, it reads like a brochure meant to promote the university. Wikipedia is improved by information gleaned from newspapers or other media that rely on being accurate and reporting on interesting things.
As it stands, it reads like a flowery laundry list of features, and I don't think it's suitable for an encyclopedia. signed, Willondon (talk) 15:42, 9 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I agree with Willondon's assessment, so I am closing the first edit request template as declined. Z1720 (talk) 18:36, 10 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Why it should be changed:

The content of the page is not adequate, we want to be more expressive and hence increase the convenience of the readers. So, we want to increase the content of the page by adding the 'Publications' heading and 'University Faculty Journals' sub-heading and then the remaining content.

We're not the universities website, this sort of content does not belong in the article. - MrOllie (talk) 13:17, 4 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Memorial PG college was recently moved to mainspace by its author. Rather than return it to Draft, or to send it to WP:AFD I believe it should be merged into the university's article. There is insufficient stand alone notability for the college.

Were this in draft I would have reviewed it to say that the merge should be the creating editor's real endeavour, and woudl have declined it for that reason 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 17:14, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just noting that I've blocked the initial editor of the article for repeated failure to engage with COI disclosure requests. signed, Rosguill talk 17:32, 29 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge, per nom. Merging part of the lead is sufficient. Hzh (talk) 10:35, 2 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Merge Seem the rationale choice. I've looked at that article 3 times on npp and it doesn't say one thing, that is not in the main article. scope_creepTalk 16:51, 5 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
It seems as if the discussion is close to unanimous that the articles should be merged. Pinging @Timtrent, Hzh, and Scope creep: in case you'd forgotten the discussion. It's been a while. Joyous! | Talk 22:46, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is not much else to say. There is a wee block of content to merge and then redirect it. scope_creepTalk 09:22, 19 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
