[Untitled][edit]

Portions of this article were directly copied from the website listed. Copyright permissions are not clear, as I did not look into them.

The text (which has also been moved to Wikisource) is from an 1897 publication... so it's in the public domain and can be copied onto Wikipedia freely. It is cited as a reference. The problem is that it's old and doesn't necessarily live up to Wikipedia standards in terms of NPOV or reliability... but... the copyright status appears to be okay. gren グレン 21:35, 11 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Serious issue[edit]

This article really shouldnt exist. A community of Lansingburgh's size does not need a seperate history page, it is a neighborhood of a 50,000 person city. When I get a chance soon I'll rewrite and expand Lansingburgh, New York and propose deletion of this article in favor or just make it a redirect to the history section of a revamped Lansingburgh article. I couldnt possibly rewrite this article and justify it existing side-by-side to the main Lansingb. article it would be redundant. I should have been deleted on non-notability issues the first time, but I wasnt aware of it the first time. Plus this article sucks. Camelbinky (talk) 01:55, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
