Working towards becoming a Good Article[edit]

Hey again @NotJuggerNot:, I wanted to touch base with you here, as you have confirmed your interest in improving this article, and I am interested in helping you reach this goal. As for an image, this article really only needs one. I'll leave the decision up to you, but my recommendation is that you use the image of the logo in the Pakistan Super League article, which gets the job done. As for an example of what you can look to, I would use Nevill Ground as an example of a Good Article. While it has existed for a substantially longer time than the Pakistan Super League, there is a lot to take away from it. For one, it covers only the largest events rather than giving a season by season recap, which is what you currently have. I really think that you can get rid of the "2016", "2017", "2018" etc. sections. While these events have happened, the inclusion of every recap starts to become borderline indiscriminate, and not what we are looking for in a Good Article. Instead of focusing on the things that happened every year, make sure you really focus on the things that changed every year, and have good sources for these events. The "Establishment and launch" section and the "Controversies" section are pretty spot on, and I can't think of anything you need to change there. The biggest thing for you right now is to rethink your "Season by season overview" section. This is the heart of the article, but it's a lot of unnecessary information. Focus less on the individual teams competing, and write about the actual League itself and the changes that have occurred over the years.

With that being said, let me know if you have any questions. That was a lot to take in, but your article is on track to becoming a Good Article. After you address the overview, there is some things I want to address with the "Revenue" section, and that should be all you need before we can submit it! Good luck! Hi Utopes, I cannot thank you enough for such a detailed and comprehensive response. There's just one more thing that I'd like to ask you before I can start working on your given idea. Do you want me to still split things into subsections as in Major changes in 2017, Major changes in 2018 etc. or should I just go about it in one section named (maybe) History, and go in chronological order about all major updates each year?NotJuggerNot (talk) 10:57, 31 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think you need subsections for "Major changes". I'm just saying that you should focus on the major changes that have happened over the years, and try to make those events flow naturally between each other. Because the first season of the Pakistan Super League was played in 2016, you will need only need to cover 5 years of history. Because you only need to highlight 2016-2020, don't worry if the article isn't as long as you think it needs to be. Also, don't specifically say "major changes". Just talk about the major changes. Your subheaders should be "2016", "2017", "2018", "2019", and "2020" for now. There is something else that I think might need to happen with the section titles, but I don't want to overwhelm you with information right now. Utopes Hi. I have been caught up in this pandemic actually. Two of my family members tested positive. I have been pretty messed up. But now they are better and almost done with the quarantine period.
