I am sorry for the language, but what the hell is this article talking about? I find this article very unclear about the topic it is "listing." If someone ever read this book, can they please improve upon the explanation of what it is about and a closer approximation of what is meant by the character listing that preoccupies the article? The list appears to be a list of characters from the novel, and their real life counterparts. Bukowski used pseudonyms for most of the characters in the book, so as to sell it as a work of fiction. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Snr Chris (talkcontribs) 20:32, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Chinaski's(Bukowski's) cameo is mentioned in the book, this: "He is actively involved only as screenplay writer. Bukowski did enjoy a brief cameo in the film itself, as one of the many barflies." seems to imply otherwise. 201.255.101.251 (talk) 12:45, 7 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Why was most of the listing deleted? I found it interesting and useful. -M
