Footnotes for History section?[edit]

Beginning with the fifth paragraph of the history section, the entire rest of the article reads as if it's a cut and paste of Gary Berwin's self promotional bio. Especially lines like: "....thanks to the special talent of Berwin who took up the dream of a past generation and gave it new life and meaning for the next generation. He made sure the stuff of Hollywood legends remains with us today."

I'm not suggesting much of this article is untrue, but in the absence of sources how do we know? At the very least, it could stand trimming out the self-aggrandizing. ShelbyMarion (talk) 17:35, 5 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

"When the building was first established, the first two floors and the basement were to be used only for clubbing.<ref name="miami">{{cite web |url=https://news.google.com/newspapers?id=mTsuAAAAIBAJ&dq=hollywood-athletic-club&pg=4745%2C3975573 |title=Seven Story Building Is Authorized By Directors To Be Ready in December |access-date=2010-02-28 |date=1925-07-25 |publisher=The Miami News }}</ref>" The link for this reference was broken. While looking for a replacement link, I found an article with this title in The Miami News date=1925-07-12, but it is an article about an athletic club being built in Hollywood, Florida. I'm not sure what the wiki etiquette is for removing information from a page, so I left the statement in place with a comment. Siegele (talk) 19:10, 12 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
