Did this township predate Mackinac County?[edit]
Searching through some early 1800s Google Books items, I saw a mention of Holmes Township in Michilimackinac County. Is it the same township? Miqrogroove (talk) 18:29, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
- Found a book to cite for this. Note, however, the description of the township boundaries in that book extends below the 41st parallel, which was never part of Michigan. More and better sources will be needed. Miqrogroove (talk) 22:02, 9 December 2022 (UTC)
