Exodus from Earth[edit]

The article on the Homecoming series states:

"After the Earth was rendered uninhabitable by human wars, mankind departed for Harmony, as well as at least forty other planets. (Only one of these is named in the series, Ramadan, settled by Arabs."

Where was this information pulled from?

I just finished the 4th book of the series, "Earthfall", and near the end, a passage from the "Book of the Sins of the Human Race", written by the settlers of Harmony, states:

"The Earth had no more room for human beigns, and if they were to live at all, they must leave. Seven fleets were assembled and seven colonies left, and of the others we have no word."

With Harmony and Ramadan, that would only leave five other colonies.

Am I missing something here? Kythri 20:44, 12 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Either it was a goof, or maybe there were later expeditions. Afalbrig (talk) 07:06, 6 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Russian vs. Slavic[edit]

While e.g. some of the names look rather Russian, the "lost" words of the first novel (zrakoplov, puscani prah - really puščani prah) are in fact Croatian. I edited the article accordingly. 131.130.224.103 (talk) 15:40, 16 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
