This is a temporary page for building a FAQ for the Talk:Homophobia page. I've copied the following template from the Talk:Barack Obama page. Anyone know how to edit further? Exploding Boy (talk) 17:50, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

I started the ball rolling, although am unclear whether this is for the category or to supplement the article. I will add citations later, I'm a bit busy at the moment. Ideally, we will have wikilinks to existing articles and definitions. Mish (talk) 18:49, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

It's for the category, isn't it? (Although it could be modified for the article.) One needs to follow the "faq page" link to get an editable page. Rivertorch (talk) 19:17, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
I thought it was for this talk page, but could be used on other homophobia-related discussion pages. It would be a good idea to have it on the category talk page too, for instance. Going by the one on Talk:Barack Obama, it should include information about consensus reached on the talk page about specific issues as well as general definitions and other information. Now I'm really confused. You made the suggestion for the FAQ on the category talk page, not the article talk page, so I assumed you intended the FAQ for the former. I assume the article has its own share of recurrent drama (I haven't checked it out recently) but the questions for an FAQ at article talk wouldn't be the same. Really? I thought I made it here. I've been involved in homophobia-related discussions on several different pages in the last week or so, so I guess I'm the one who's confused. Exploding Boy (talk) 06:12, 20 May 2009 (UTC)

Please see Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion/Log/2010_January_18#Category:Homophobia about the Category:Homophobia. Final decision "no articles for allegedly homophobic people (including fictional people), organizations, or media should exist in this category.", and the category was emptied of such entries.
