Thanks for this correction, SJ Morg. Looks like I was a bit sloppy. I did see it stated that he edited the Oregon Journal, but now that I retrace my steps, I see it was here -- not a high quality source. I was also surprised to see that the Journal had been around that long, it seemed suspect. I'll do a little more digging and see if I can figure out if he really did edit a paper by that name. I'm currently working on an OHQ article about the history of printing in Oregon, maybe I'll find something in there. -Pete Forsyth (talk) 23:28, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Here's something that looks a bit more reliable...but still unsure of its relation to the later Journal.
