How many goals?[edit]

Has Hossam really scored 80 international goals? The list of all-time goal scorers has him down as scoring 69 in 170.

According to the RSSSF at the bottom of the page, the number should be 69. I'm going to edit it now.Isaiahcambron 03:40, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Banning by FIFA[edit]

Hossam Hassan's International statistics[edit]

What is the actual number of official international appearances that Hossam Hassan made and the offical number of goals that he scored for Egypt between 1985 and 2006? The List of footballers with 100 or more caps page currently says 178 appearances, but his actual wiki page says 169, and the list of all-time goal scorers page also says he made 169 appearances (and scored 69 goals). The two FIFA sources on his page (169 appearances; 69 goals) and the RSSSF (178 appearances; 68 goals) source cited on his page appear to be giving conflicting information, and the stats table further down shows a different number altogether (176 appearances; 68 goals).
