Significance[edit]

I'm surprised to see such a decent article turned into a redirect. The episode heavily features a Grammy award-winning R&B artist, is the only episode of American Dad I've seen to be almost completely musical in nature, and parodies Little Shop of Horrors. I have no idea if the claims in the article, that the ep was intended to be the series finale since its future was in doubt, but that seems rather significant if true. Aside from Cee Lo's article, I've seen nothing related to American Dad noting his involvement here. At the very least I'd expect to see something in the footnote for the episode on Season 7. --Superlgn (talk) 04:29, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If this is what you call, I'll hate to see what you call a bad article. There was only one source in the article, and therefor nothing besides the plot could be considered reliable, and the plot summary itself was not written well. The article is NOT bad. It has a lot of significance, just like Superlgn is saying. Cee Lo Green happens to be a big R&B artist which isn't recognized much for this episode. I honestly agree and think it's ridiculous to redirect the article because of the way its written. It's still new for god sakes. Isn't wikipedia named for improvements from others? Hey guys, I'm the one who added the information about the show's staff thinking that this was going to be the last one and killed Stan off because of it. I neglected to add the citation link to the video on Hulu where they actually say this. This is not the series finale. One, there are more episodes scheduled. Two, series finales don't end in the beginning of the episode. Originally, the cast THOUGHT it would be. Wendy Schaal noted there were 7 pieces of music recorded for the episode in a production video on Fox. I'm not sure what the actual titles of the songs are (aside from Daddy's Gone) or where that information and writing credits would be published (if at all), but here's what I got from the episode:

Hot Tub of Love (sung by Green, Seth McFarlane, Wendy Schaal, Scott Grimes)
Do Whatever You Like (sung by Green, McFarlane, Schaal) / Creeping (Schaal)
