Q's[edit]
I had 2 questions about this article.
- Why is the title "House of Bjelbo", but the first line is about "Family of Bjälbo"? Why Family instead of House, but more importantly, why Bjälbo instead of Bjelbo?
- "The royal family originated from Bjelbo line was descended from Jarl Birger whose two sons ascended the Swedish throne." I don't understand what this means.

House of Bjelbo → House of Bjälbo – In modern literature, Bjälbo is more common spelling than Bjelbo (see Ngram). The exact phrases, "House of Bjälbo" and "House of Bjelbo" return only a few matches in Google Books. Searches like Folkung+Bjälbo and Folkung+Bjelbo indicate that also in the dynastic context 'Bjälbo' is more common. The umlaut does not influence the choice of the name per WP:DIACRITICS.
