Merger[edit]

Not sure I entirely agree with elements of WPLOCAL (which seems a common POV). I think that it is suitable to have a separate section on the Brewing company rather than have it as part of the Houston page. Mainly as I think the Scottish breweries are poorly represented and merging them into the local pages is a little counter productive as I think there is a great deal more info to add.

Hi there. While I think there is very possibly scope for an article here, it is very much borderline. You refer to Houston ales (which one?) as a 'major beer' in a comment - that they are certainly not. It is a microbrewery with a small capacity and a spread around the local area, with some coverage further afield. In the context of wider work on Scottish breweries, it can be useful - and hence I defer to your judgement and support keeping the article. --Breadandcheese (talk) 01:44, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
My apologies for the major comment, I was writing 'major beer in the West of Scotland' but ran out of room. :-/ I agree about a wider assault on Scottish breweries as they are chronically under represented and will be adding content to that effect. I had intended to do this when I made the page but was sidetracked by work pressure. Reid.rjk (talk) 04:01, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
