Splitting to Douglas Porpora?[edit]

Hi there, I've been thinking of splitting this article into the book article (How Holocausts Happen) and the author article (Douglas Porpora). Currently, the page includes both, but this is supposed to be an article about the book - not the author. If anyone has any additional sources and would like to work on this with me, let me know on my talk page, or discuss it below. Thanks! Mononomic (talk) 01:47, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Split declined. There is not enough information available to write an article on the author. Having done some quick research it appears that the author wold not meet the requirements of WP:AUTHOR. I am also uncertain about the notability of this book, and doubt if it passes Wikipedia:Notability (books). The book exists, but it doesn't appear to be notable enough for Wikipedia. Good to know. I have, however, been able to find references to this book in numerous peer-reviewed publications (see here), and the book is the subject of instruction at Drexel University (professor's university page here). This seems to satisfy at least criterion 4. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Mononomic (talk) 23:23, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, after putting {{find}} on the talkpage and using it, I felt there was enough stuff out there not to put this forward for AfD. SilkTork *YES! 23:52, 31 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
