Does anyone have any information on John Fitzgerald?

With the movie coming out, I'm sure there are going to be a bunch of people looking for him and probably making up a bunch of crap.

With that being said, it should be noted that Glass did not have a son who was murdered, and that the attack happened in the Summer not the Winter as portrayed in the film, and that Fitzgerald was not killed by Glass or American Indians as also portrayed in the film. The facts listed in this article, as far as my historical knowledge and fact checking is concerned, is correct as of now, so lets make sure no Hollywood buffs go around screwing things up.Hess36 (talk) 08:04, 24 December 2015 (UTC)

After finding much of the unsourced material regarding the Ashley expedition was drawn verbatim, or near verbatim, from a web blog, without referencing or attribution (a poor source, but still the source that was clearly used), I have:

• noted the section for copyvio., and
• noted the article as a whole as being in need of an expert in History.
