Any information on how Hudson met Taylor gratefully received. I suspect it was when Hudson was promoting the York to Newcastle railway.--Davidvaughanwells (talk) 13:26, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There was a ship operating out of Newcastle operated by Adams brothers called the Hugh Taylor which was sunk of Flamborough head (Bridlington) in 1896. http://www.plimsoll.org/images/14506_tcm4-164699.pdf Operating out of Newcastle I am fairly certain Hugh Taylor MP had some interest in this ship but cannot be definite. --Davidvaughanwells (talk) 13:40, 10 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
