Frankfurt and disambiguation[edit]

I strongly disagree with the move of the former IAA page to specific disambiguation page (and there was not talk on that move whatsoever) and that the name IAA itself should be occupied bye the mere abbreviation of "Frankfurt Motor Show's" german name. That is a joke, it seems.

There is lot of important terms on this disamiguation, lot of institutions and just the mere substance Indole acetic acid is of high importance in chemistry and biology, each of such terms would outweighed the abbreviation for the show and might deserve IAA page name even more then it. I propose to revers the move: Let's disamiguation is on the IAA only.

Just have a look on google fight: [1]

undoing changes[edit]

I do not believe that IAA has a primary use as the name of the Frankfurt motor show. I have changed this redirect to point to the disambiguation page, and made a formal WP:RM to move the dab page back to this title (it cannot be done without that process, as there is a complicated edit history to the pages). See discussion at Talk:IAA_(disambiguation)#Requested_move. PamD (talk) 21:49, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Although I listed this at WP:RM as a "potentially controversial" request, an admin has already made the requested move. Please do not change the name of this page again without further discussion. Thanks. PamD (talk) 07:19, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

weeding the page[edit]

WP is not a list of acronyms. I've removed items from this list where they were redlinks not linked from any other article in WP. They can be added back if articles on the topics are written, or if the topics concerned are linked from new articles. PamD (talk) 16:04, 21 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
