I am unsure of the translations to English of the names of the various islands, cannot find English names in literature and have therefore translated them literally. A problem arises with Centrumeiland and Middeneiland. Centrum means both centre and town centre. Midden means both centre and middle, much in the same way as the word middle does in English. To name an island Town centre island seems strange in English, so I have opted for Centre and Middle island respectively. Bikerams 10:03, 10 June 2006 (UTC)

Still under construction?

At the beginning of this article the following text can be read: "IJburg is a residential neighbourhood under construction in 2013". Is it still being built or finished now? Could somebody update that bit? Thanks. --95.20.64.137 (talk) 12:16, 29 March 2016 (UTC)
