Notability[edit]

See http://www.google.com/search?q=ISACA+site:gov (or include the government of your choice) This body produces ValIT and COBIT which are used by audit offices worldwide when auditing information systems. e.g. ISACA are the subject matter experts. David T. Bath 09:17, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

David T. Bath, I put the notability tag on this article because the article itself doesn't establish notability. The information here appears to be from ISACA, not from sources independent from ISACA. It's clear that independent sources exist, but they're not cited or referenced in the article. The notability tag is asking for some independent reliable sources to be used as sources for the article text. In other words, the article shouldn't say only what ISACA says about itself, it should say what others have written about the body. Hope this is helpful. --SueHay 23:36, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It is my sad duty to report that my Father, Clifford Waldo Perkins, Past President of the EDP Auditors Foundation for Education and Research, formerly of Fountain Valley, CA and late of Santa Cruz, CA passed away August 10th 2012, at the age of 92. My Father was career employee at Mc Donnell/Douglas. He retired in 1985. - Steve C. 'Perky' Perkins

Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control[edit]

I created an article for CRISC in order to ensure that up-to-date information is presented through http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:Computer_Security_Certifications Vijoothomas (talk) 15:13, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Does Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control need its own article, or would it be better merged to this one? Empty Buffer (talk) 14:32, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I opened a afd on this but a merge might work. Product and certification doesn't seem to be notable yet and original article advertised a bit. Hell In A Bucket (talk) 14:36, 14 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
